We Are Currently Looking For Logistics Specialist We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Specialist to manage our company’s international logistics operations. Working closely with the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, the successful candidate will oversee import and export flows.
This role includes coordinating shipments of finished products to international clients, as well as regular material transfers between our divisions located in Canada, the United States, and India. A key part of the position also involves organizing logistics for international product demonstrations, managing ATA Carnets, and supporting trade show logistics.
Key Responsibilities Logistics:
- Collaborate closely with the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to plan and manage material transfers between sites (Canada, USA, India)
- Handle equipment imports and re-exports under RMA processes, ensuring customs and regulatory compliance
- Manage shipments of finished products to international customers
Product Demonstrations
- Organize logistics for international product demos in collaboration with the Support team
- Prepare and manage temporary export documentation, including ATA Carnets
- Ensure delivery, retrieval, and tracking of demo equipment
Trade Shows & Events
- Coordinate equipment shipments for international trade shows with the Marketing team
- Ensure proper reception and return of exhibition materials
- Carriers & Logistics Partners
- Work with the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to select, manage, and evaluate carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Handle transport-related claims (delays, damages, losses)
Documentation, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain up-to-date documentation
- Ensure customs and regulatory compliance
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to logistics processes
Desired Profile
- Degree in logistics, international trade, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international logistics
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation, and import/export regulations, including RMA handling
- Experience with ATA Carnets and temporary export processes
- Excellent team collaboration skills
- Professional fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems
