About The Opportunity Our client in the Gatineau-Chelsea area is looking for a Bilingual Senior Bookkeeper to join their growing organization on a permanent, full-time basis for a newly-made opening.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- High volume AP- processing vendor invoices including coding, data entry, and verification
- Prepare payments according to schedule and manage urgent payments when required
- Respond to vendor inquiries and complete follow-ups
- Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, resolving variances
- Ensure compliance with internal policies
- Posting of Journal Entries & working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
- Support month-end close by ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documented
- Processing unionized payroll, HST remittances, WSIB- collect and validate payroll inputs (hours, premiums, allowances), prepare data for payroll processing
- Processing and recording of Employee cash advances
- Maintain payroll-related employee records
- Produce internal payroll reporting as required
- Provide administrative support as required
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Fluently Bilingual in both official languages (English, French)
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
About the Job The salary for this opportunity ranges from $60K to $70K based on relevant previous experience.
