Here's the role

The Manager, IT Solutions Delivery leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering technology solutions that drive strategic initiatives. This role ensures IT solutions are aligned with business objectives, fosters collaboration across technical and business teams, and promotes innovation, scalability, and continuous improvement in solution delivery.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of integrated IT solutions that support strategic business initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary IT team, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and project managers to define solution requirements, scope, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and allocate resources to enable timely delivery of multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain delivery frameworks, standards, and performance metrics to ensure consistent high-quality outcomes.
  • Champion agile and iterative delivery practices to enhance adaptability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors and technology leaders.
  • Manage the business unit budget, balancing cost optimization with delivery of high-value solutions.
  • Contribute to IT leadership planning, resource allocation, and performance management to advance enterprise-wide transformation.

EducationExperience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in IT solution delivery, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing diverse technical teams and delivering complex, cross-functional solutions.
  • Strong understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud platforms, and data-driven technologies.
  • Certifications in project or agile methodologies (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are considered assets.
  • Experience working in an insurance or financial industry is considered an asset.
