About the role

Job Overview

While some plan to retire on Mars, we’re betting on this rock. Join us as we aim to educate and assist 1,000 businesses and their 10,000 employees on sustainability over the next 3 years.

We’re looking for a Sustainability & Project Coordinator

who’s organized, curious, and eager to make sustainability happen in real businesses. This is a hybrid role

. You’ll keep our team and projects running smoothly and

support client Sustainability work.

If you have a knack for organizing people and timelines, can wrangle spreadsheets

, and bring knowledge of at least one sustainability reporting framework (CSRD, GRI, TCFD, ISO 14001 etc.),

you’ll fit right in.

Experience with supplier sustainability assessments or questionnaires (e.g., EcoVadis, B Corp, SBTi, CDP) materiality assessments, KPI tracking, and ESG policy/report writing will be considered strong assets.

Your Responsibilities

Project Coordination (50%)

  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and client communications across 16+ active client files.
  • Join client calls, capture action items, and send follow-up summaries. AKA keep the team accountable.
  • Maintain Trello boards, shared folders, and project trackers.
  • Prep agendas, meeting notes, and call decks for internal and client meetings.

Sustainability Delivery Support (30%)

  • Provide experience, knowledge and reporting around one of the following Sustainability reporting frameworks (E.g. CSRD, GRI, TCFD or ISO 14001)
  • Assist with ESG policy writing, proof document creation, and report formatting.
  • Support GHG data collection and basic calculations (Scope 1, 2, and 3 - training provided if needed).
  • Research ESG standards and integrate findings into client work.
  • Readiness to help support supplier sustainability requests and questionnaires like EcoVadis, CDP, BCorp, UNGC and more.
  • Assist in preparing sustainability reports and presentation materials.

Internal Systems & Improvement (20%)

  • Clean up and organize templates, SOPs, and file structures.
  • Help prepare proposals and case studies.
  • Support light marketing tasks like formatting blogs, creating educational video content or LinkedIn posts.

About You

  • 1–3 years of experience or education in Sustainability, ESG, or Environmental Studies.
  • Exposure to at least one sustainability reporting framework (CSRD, GRI, TCFD, ISO 14001 etc.)
  • Experience or readiness to learn other standards and suppliers questionnaires (EcoVadis, UNGC, UNSDGs, BCorp, CDP, etc)
  • Naturally organized. You love checklists, timelines, and keeping things moving.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, plus comfort or ability to learn with Canva and Trello.
  • Comfortable on client calls and confident in written communication.
  • Curious, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a small, fast-paced team.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in a consultancy or client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with emissions calculations or sustainability reporting.
