About the role

This position promotes the growth and development of First Nations employment by developing and implementing organizational initiatives relating to recruitment, staffing, workforce planning, and career development.

Collaborating with Central Office hiring managers in handling their day-to-day workforce planning, staffing, and recruitment activities. Serving as a resource to Casino HR departments regarding unique situations and escalated inquiries. Builds, monitors, maintains and actively promotes SIGAs Employer Brand. Providing career development and planning support to SIGA employees. Executes and coordinates the SIGA recruitment strategy. Conducting research and analysis relating to SIGAs organizational design. Assisting with the research and development of recommendations for consistent and fair staffing policies that position SIGA as an employer of choice. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of Talent Acquisition priorities.

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce; Human Resources major preferred Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation is considered an asset Several years of directly related experience and training may be considered Two years Human Resource generalist experience and direct experience with small projects related to recruitment and staffing Experience consulting with management Strong communication skills are considered an asset Understanding of local, provincial, and national labor market trends and changes Knowledge of digital recruitment strategies, avenues, and metrics Knowledge of Human Resource metrics and benchmarking processes
