Position Overview The Manager of Platforms, Strategy & Privacy – Orange Apron Media will lead the end-to-end workflow and oversee all advertising systems required to execute media strategies effectively. In this role you will provide proactive guidance for upcoming tech builds and roadmaps, identify risks through the privacy risk assessment process, and track remediation actions as needed. You will be responsible for knowing the privacy impact of projects. You will help manage key privacy initiatives and help teams design their systems and customer experiences in a manner that upholds our high bar for customer trust. This role demands a deep understanding of digital media, advertising technology, and operational frameworks. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including IT, Product Development, Analytics, Legal, Media and external partners—to ensure platform capabilities are optimized and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities Actionable Deliverable
- Lead the launch of new ad tech offerings from the ground up, including RFP processes and MSA negotiations
- Ensure compliance with Canadian privacy and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the successful and timely delivery of the FY26 product roadmap
Actionable Deliverable
- Build and manage the Orange Apron Media roadmap for supplier-facing capabilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify incremental inventory and ad product opportunities
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new offerings

- Own and refine intra-team platform processes
- Serve as a subject matter expert for ad products and features supporting Account Management, Sales, Planning, and Ad Ops
- Conduct platform learning sessions for the OAM team on tools like creative builder, campaign creation, and reporting

Lead the privacy compliance roadmap development along with creating privacy risk assessment framework
Plan, organize, manage privacy office projects, ensuring on-time, successful delivery
Support development and implementation of privacy processes and procedures
Prepare updates and formal communications to provide information about project status, issues, key decisions

Minimum Education
- bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Commerce, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum Years Of Work Experience
- 6+ years in digital media, advertising technology, analytics, or a related field
Minimum Leadership Experience
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects

Other Requirements/Assets
- eCommerce advertising experience is an asset
- Retail industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of structured testing (e.g., incrementality testing)
- Naturally curious with a bias toward action and results
