Parking is FREE at East Coast Forensic Hospital
Reporting to the Health Service Manager, Mental Health and Addictions and working under the leadership of the Clinical Director of Forensic Psychiatry Services, the Psychometrist will assist members of the current psychology team in reviewing, updating, and managing relevant data. This can include but is not limited to review of patient files, chart notes, and criminal justice information. In addition, the successful applicant may assist in obtaining information from other sources (e.g., coordinating with justice and crown offices). The successful applicant will also participate in collecting and inputting patient information useful in making decisions about management of patients. Collaborating with other health care professionals will be required.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Master’s degree in clinical/applied psychology/counselling psychology, Neuroscience, School Psychology or equivalent acceptable to the discipline.
- Completion of a graduate level practicum in assessment or intervention or equivalent an asset.
- Training and/or experience in the administration and scoring of psychological tests preferred.
- Experience working in a clinic setting with adult clinical populations; experience in a mental health clinic or service is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills, judgement, verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail will be required.
- Experience in forensic rehabilitation is considered an asset and is preferred.
- Employees are responsible to access training, education and awareness of safety (occupational health safety and patient safety) annually. Knowledge and awareness of ethical and professional practice standards in Psychology
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French is an asset.

- Long Assignment, Part-Time (50%) / 37.5 Hours Bi-weekly
- September 2025 to September 2026, approximately 12 months
Compensation and Benefits
$38.11 - $47.42 Hourly
