About the role

En tant que représentant des ventes internes, vous interagirez avec des clients existants afin d’augmenter les ventes des produits et/ou services de l’entreprise. Vous serez responsable d’obtenir, de créer et de bonifier les commandes, tout en assurant la satisfaction du client et en ajoutant de la valeur à son expérience d’achat. Vous mettrez l’accent sur des techniques de vente proactives afin de développer de nouvelles affaires ou d’élargir le portefeuille de comptes existants. Vous collaborerez avec l’équipe des ventes externes afin d’atteindre les objectifs fixés.

Responsabilités :

  • Obtenir des commandes par courriel et par téléphone, vérifier et saisir les articles, transférer les commandes à la logistique, expliquer les ruptures de stock et les dates de livraison prévues.
  • Augmenter les commandes en suggérant des articles connexes, en expliquant leurs caractéristiques et en vérifiant l’historique d’achats du client.
  • Prendre en charge, qualifier et développer les opportunités transmises par le marketing, les ventes externes et les comptes nationaux.
  • Identifier des moyens d’améliorer continuellement les processus.
  • Préparer, générer et assurer le suivi des devis verbaux ou écrits afin d’obtenir des commandes ou de déterminer les raisons d’une perte de commande.
  • Examiner les rapports de commandes clients en cours et prendre les mesures nécessaires concernant les articles ouverts, notamment ceux susceptibles de ne pas respecter les délais de livraison promis.
  • Gérer les rapports de ruptures dans le système de distribution, les rapports d’expédition associés, ainsi que les notifications clients.
  • Transmettre à la direction les tendances du secteur, les prix concurrentiels et les commentaires des clients.

Qualifications :

  • Diplôme d’études secondaires requis ; baccalauréat préféré.
  • Connaissances et expérience dans les ventes et l’administration des ventes (2 à 4 ans) ; maîtrise en développement.
  • Bonne connaissance de Microsoft Office et des compétences informatiques de base.
  • Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément.
  • Esprit d’équipe et collaboration.
  • Excellentes aptitudes de communication orale et écrite.
  • Grande attention aux détails.
  • Capacité à prospecter et à présenter des concepts de marketing à des comptes existants et potentiels.
  • Aptitude à agir et à résoudre une gamme de problèmes pouvant être difficiles, mais rarement complexes.
  • Capacité à identifier et à définir les problèmes ainsi que les solutions possibles de manière autonome ; capacité à choisir parmi les solutions existantes.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome avec une supervision générale. Capacité à voyager entre 0 % et 25 %.

As a Representative - Inside Sales, you will interact with existing customers, to increase sales of the Company's products and/or services. You will obtain, create, and up-sell orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will focus on proactive selling techniques to add business or expand current book of accounts. You will collaborate with outside sales to ensure goals are being met.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtains orders through email and telephone calls, verifies and enters items, transfers orders to fulfillment, explains stock-outs and expected delivery dates.
  • Increases orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checks customer’s buying history.
  • Owns, qualifies and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
  • Identifies ways for continuous improvement of processes.
  • Prepares, generates, and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order.
  • Reviews open customer order reports and takes action on open items, including those items that may be at risk in meeting customer’s promised delivery date.
  • Maintains distribution system backorder report, associated customer expediting report and notices, and customer notification.
  • Reports industry trends, competitive pricing and customer feedback to management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors’ degree preferred

  • Requires knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills, however fully competent and productive professional contributor (2-4 years)

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, and ability to perform basic computer skills

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Working in team environment

  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts

  • Take action and solve a range of problems that may be difficult but are not typically complex

  • Identify and define problems and possible solutions independently; chooses among existing solutions

  • Ability to work independently with general supervision

  • Ability to travel 0% - 25%

Compensation Details $26.73 - $31.00 Per Hour

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of the total compensation package.
