What You’ll Do
Use specialized software to create/update technical publications (such as manuals, training courses, engineering change control documents, etc.) **Adobe Framemaker**
Training and mentoring junior staff.
Recommend changes to department procedures, work instruction, and standards.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.
Review (for inconsistencies/errors) of technical publications and change control documentation.
Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvement.
Ensure tasks are completed on time and within the specified budget.
Additional tasks as assigned.
What You Bring
Post-Secondary Engineering related certificate or higher from a recognized institution.
1-year minimum experience in field.
Proficiency with Technical Writing (Frameworker experience is a large asset).
Computer proficiency (Document Management Software, MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
Project Management knowledge is an asset.
Exposure to engineering drawings.
Knowledge of integration processes (general assembly, tooling, order of operations).
Aptitude in Drafting software (Autodesk Inventor experience is an asset).
Aptitude in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Able to obtain a Canadian Class 2 Security clearance.
Must have a clean background history and obtain criminal record check
