Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Field Service Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing onsite and virtual technical support, including the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of IT hardware and software. Additional responsibilities include managing device configurations, ensuring system performance, and offering technical advice to clients to optimize their IT solutions. Communication and collaboration with internal teams and clients are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in IT hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Expertise in networking and system performance optimization
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to provide effective client support
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adapt to diverse challenges
- Customer service experience and a focus on maintaining positive client relationships
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) are a plus
- Background in IT or a related field, with hands-on experience in technical support
