Job Title: Territory Account Manager
Reports to: Senior Manager, National Sales
Purpose of the Role
The Territory Account Manager at LifeLabs plays a crucial role promoting LifeLabs suite of services and products within Family Health Networks and large Physician group clinics. They will report to the Senior Manager, National Sales and will work closely with the Client Services, Product Specialists and Market Share Teams.
The Territory Account Manager is an expert in LifeLabs organizational capabilities, customer experience and ensures that the customers’ needs are fully understood and addressed by LifeLabs subject matter experts. They will provide leadership aligned with LifeLabs strategic objectives within their region. This role will contribute to the broader Ontario growth strategy through the disciplined execution of a regional plan.
The Territory Account Manager will foster a continuous improvement culture to take advantage of every available opportunity to drive towards excellence and quality.
The position requires more than 50% travel and is eligible for a company car.
Your responsibilities will include:
Grow Market Share
- Owns and manages a Growth target supported by a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities with accountability for all stages from prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, closing and ensuring Client Services/IT/Lab Ops execute a seamless onboarding.
- Ensures clients have the optimal customer experience (CX) and effectively advocates internally to address any deficiencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactively address competitive threats with targeted campaigns to offer services that will enhance CX promote our brand and further entrench us as the preferred lab provider for Key client groups.
Promoting LifeLabs Products and Services:
- Ensure that LifeLabs has fully capitalized on the private pay and specialty service business with client accounts, acting as Key Account Manager to coordinate the introduction of subject matter experts (SME’s) to ensure that the physicians are aware of the Specialty and Advanced Diagnostic services offered by LifeLabs and our partners (Neuro, Fertility, Cardio, Data, Pathology and Oncology)
Building and Maintaining Relationships within FHN, Long Term Care homes and Physician Group Clinics
- Build relationships and manage service levels with local/regional external clients - develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical groups, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.
Supporting Healthcare Provider (HCP) Needs
- Provide VOC for Client Services, Operations, Marketing and Product to ensure that LifeLabs maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction and continues to meet customers’ current and future needs.
- Direct engagement with HCPs and executive leads of health care practices including family health team, outpatient clinics and Community Health centers
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Health/Life Sciences or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in similar role
- Valid Driver's License & Clean Driver's abstract.
- Demonstrated success leading Strategic Selling activities within a matrix organization.
- Expertise and demonstrated success selling healthcare services/technology to physician groups.
- A detailed and results oriented self-starter with demonstrated analytical expertise.
- Has excellent written and verbal communicator, including with senior executives.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- SalesForce.com or similar CRM expertise
- Has an entrepreneurial aptitude to develop the new role.
