As a Digital Marketing Consultant (DMC) Sales, your primary objective is to drive revenue growth by closing sales and building strong client relationships. You will play a vital role in converting qualified leads into satisfied clients through persuasive communication, strategic negotiation, and a solid understanding of digital marketing services.
Position Purpose:
This position is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in business development and a strong knowledge of digital marketing solutions such as SEO, paid ads, social media management, and website development.
While this role is remote, we are specifically seeking an individual based in Edmonton who is highly active in the local business community. The successful candidate will be expected to regularly research, attend, and network at in-person business events, trade shows, and community gatherings to build relationships, generate leads, and promote Reach First’s services within the Edmonton market.
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
- Demonstrated success in closing deals, meeting sales quotas, and nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Experience attending and networking at professional business events is a strong asset.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced sales techniques to successfully close deals and achieve revenue targets.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Actively attend and engage in business networking events within the Edmonton area to generate new leads and build brand presence.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional support and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Evaluate and prioritize leads generated by the marketing team and personal networking efforts.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Reach First’s digital marketing services, including SEO, paid advertising, web development, and social media marketing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor proposals and solutions that address specific client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications using CRM software.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide valuable market feedback to marketing and product teams.
Requirements:
- Proven success in sales and closing high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services and terminology.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, target-oriented, and organized with great time management skills.
- Must be based in Edmonton and willing to attend local business networking events on a regular basis. Potential to travel outside of Edmonton to attend additional networking/conference events.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Google Workspace.
- Ability to stay composed and professional in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $3,000 – $4,000 CAD per month (depending on experience).
- Commission: 10% monthly recurring commission on all your personal sales revenue generated.
