About the role

We are currently looking to expand our volunteer Board of Directors, particularly as we build our new public interest litigation and intervention initiative. At this time, we are seeking:
- Geographic representation from Atlantic Canada and British Columbia
- A retired or seasoned lawyer with experience in criminal defence, prosecution, elder law, or constitutional litigation. What is the time commitment? The Board meets virtually for one hour each month from September to June. Meetings are currently held on the third Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. ET. The Board may establish committees, which would meet separately.
How to apply To learn more or to apply for this opportunity, please contact our founding chair, Heather Campbell Pope, at heather@dementiajustice.ca or 613.710.0366. Please outline your relevant qualifications.
