What You'll Do
- Take the lead on preparing tenders and estimates for complex fire sprinkler projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to develop accurate and competitive bids.
- Build strong relationships with general contractors, consultants, and partners in the field.
- Collaborate closely with internal design, procurement, and site teams to keep projects on track.
- Oversee multiple projects from estimating to completion — managing budgets, timelines, and scope changes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies to ensure every project is state-of-the-art.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance with NFPA standards and local building codes.
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field; Fire Protection Engineering Technology is an asset.
- Experience in the design, supply, or installation of fire protection or sprinkler systems.
- Familiarity with estimating software and strong computer skills (Microsoft 365).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Deep understanding of construction practices, blueprint reading, and project coordination.
- A commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
