About the role

Who you are

  • The following is our backend technical stack. Experience with these is preferred, although not strictly necessary in all cases:
  • Golang
  • Kubernetes
  • GCP
  • MongoDB
  • FHIR, CHAPI
  • OAuth
  • Experience working with server-side programming languages
  • Knowledge and understanding of modern web services architectures
  • Experience building and maintaining automated test suites
  • Experience working on platform products an asset

What the job involves

  • As Platform Software Engineer, Backend, you are responsible for building web services and APIs, working primarily with Go and MongoDB
  • You work as part of a small cross-functional team to deliver features on our roadmap, as well as continually maintain and improve a specific area of our product
  • The Content Authoring and Configuration Tool Team is responsible for creating and maintaining a centralized venue for internal and external non-technical users to configure and manage their League implementation
  • We also create frameworks and services that allow capabilities to quickly, predictably and robustly make their capabilities configurable
  • We partner with & support teams across the organization to create these configuration tools
  • Build, test and maintain backend services, and data storage
  • Debug production issues with services and data
  • Participate in technical design and planning discussions
  • Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance
