About the role
Who you are
- The following is our backend technical stack. Experience with these is preferred, although not strictly necessary in all cases:
- Golang
- Kubernetes
- GCP
- MongoDB
- FHIR, CHAPI
- OAuth
- Experience working with server-side programming languages
- Knowledge and understanding of modern web services architectures
- Experience building and maintaining automated test suites
- Experience working on platform products an asset
What the job involves
- As Platform Software Engineer, Backend, you are responsible for building web services and APIs, working primarily with Go and MongoDB
- You work as part of a small cross-functional team to deliver features on our roadmap, as well as continually maintain and improve a specific area of our product
- The Content Authoring and Configuration Tool Team is responsible for creating and maintaining a centralized venue for internal and external non-technical users to configure and manage their League implementation
- We also create frameworks and services that allow capabilities to quickly, predictably and robustly make their capabilities configurable
- We partner with & support teams across the organization to create these configuration tools
- Build, test and maintain backend services, and data storage
- Debug production issues with services and data
- Participate in technical design and planning discussions
- Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance
