About the role
Class 5 Pressure truck Operator
This role involves operating a single axle pressure truck to service the oilfield and industrial industry. Types of work would include pipeline and equipment pressure tests, pipeline chemical batching, chemical transport and storage tank fill, freeze up and hydrate removal, and other various industrial pressure work
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 5 pressure truck on and off-road environments
- Maintain and operate equipment to the highest standards to ensure equipment is always functioning at its greatest performance and reliability
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, and completing all safety orientations and training to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform Pre & Post trip vehicle inspections
- Complete all necessary paperwork including invoicing, time sheets, ELD’s, & JSA’s
- Effectively communicate with customers onsite
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Successfully complete a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening.
- Collaborate with all staff and customers to ensure every job is completed successfully.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1, 3, or 5 driver’s licence with air brakes and clean abstract
- 3 Years Experience with Oilfield Service Industry and pressure truck work
- H2S, First Aid and Confined Space certification will be required.
- Previous experience in operating a pressure truck or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekend and holidays if needed in extreme weather conditions.
