Position: U18 AAA Head Coach
Organization: Parkland Athletic Club (PAC)
Season: 2026–2027
Overview:
PAC is seeking a dynamic, experienced leader to serve as the inaugural Head Coach for our U18 AAA program. This individual will be responsible for building a competitive team culture, developing elite athletes, and representing PAC’s values on and off the ice.
Key Responsibilities:
**•**Lead all aspects of team operations: practices, games, tournaments, and off-ice development.
**•**Develop and implement a comprehensive seasonal plan focused on skill development, systems, and conditioning.
**•**Foster a positive, disciplined, and competitive environment aligned with PAC’s mission.
**•**Collaborate with PAC leadership on player recruitment, selection, and advancement.
**•**Ensure compliance with Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada regulations.
**•**Manage assistant coaches, trainers, and support staff.
**•**Communicate effectively with players, parents, and stakeholders.
**•**Promote academic success and personal growth for athletes.
Qualifications:
**•**Minimum High Performance 1 (HP1)certification (or willingness to obtain).
**•**Proven experience coaching at U18 AAA, Junior, or equivalent elite level.
**•**Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
**•**Ability to mentor athletes and staff.
**•**Knowledge of modern hockey systems, analytics, and player development strategies.
**•**Commitment to PAC’s values: integrity, respect, and excellence.
Assets:
**•**Playing experience at Junior, College, or Professional level.
**•**Experience with video analysis and technology integration.
**•**Strong network within elite hockey circles.
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.
