About the role

Sylvite Agri-Services is seeking a Bulk Liquid Team Member to support operations at our Putnam location. This hands-on role is perfect for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. You’ll play a key part in supporting our bulk liquid handling operations, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality service.

##About the Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure the safe and efficient receiving, handling, and movement of bulk liquid products. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, is safety-conscious, and enjoys working with equipment and machinery.

###What You’ll Do

  • Spotting and maneuvering railcars/trucks for bulk liquid receiving.
  • Opening and closing manifolds, loading/offloading bulk products.
  • Operating the Kahler system, monitoring flow rates, and performing basic maintenance.
  • Retrieving and opening bulk totes for receiving.
  • Monitoring bins, railcars, and bulk truck loads to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Operating screening systems and supporting bulk raw material quality control.
  • Maintaining product quality awareness, inventory reporting, and general yard/equipment maintenance.
  • General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Operating rolling stock equipment such as Track-mobile, Front-end-loader, Skid Steer, and Forklift as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Plant Supervisor.

##About You

  • Good understanding of agricultural practices and farm equipment.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills; highly organized and dependable.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak season.
  • Clean driving record; ‘G’ license or ability to obtain.
  • Forklift operation experience is an asset; DZ license is an asset.
