What we are looking for:

The Business Analyst will be part of the Global Data Management team, that is responsible for the firm’s security master, pricing, corporate actions, and derivatives products. The role will directly help with a project converting data from one platform to another platform.

Your responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Analyzing big data to identify differences and propose/implement solutions;
• Data mapping exercises;
• Data clean up;
• Working within the database to extract data for review;
• Testing solutions to ensure data quality.

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

• Must be comfortable working with raw data/flat files;
• 2-3 of years relevant operations experience;
• Experience and demonstrated skills with SQL, Oracle, Excel, VBA and Excel macros is a major asset;
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and strong problem resolution skills;
• Good understanding of how Investment Managers operate and interact with Analysts and Senior Analysts, Counterparties and Custodians is essential;
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines;
• Proven continuous process improvement mindset and positive team attitude;
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written);
• Proficient knowledge of Pacer, Eagle and Bloomberg is an asset.
