The Program Quality Analyst supports the development, application, and continuous improvement of the institution’s academic quality and program review frameworks. This role focuses on evidence gathering, analysis, documentation, and reporting related to program quality, curriculum currency, and academic effectiveness.
Working closely with academic leadership, Program Heads, and the Teaching & Learning team, the Analyst ensures that academic quality reviews are evidence informed, consistent, and decision ready.
Major Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Program Review & Quality Analysis
- Support program and curriculum reviews by collecting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Map evidence to defined academic quality criteria.
- Identify trends, gaps, and strengths across programs.
- Maintain program review templates, rubrics, and documentation tools.
- Support flagship initiatives (e.g., major curriculum reviews) as analytical lead.
Data Collection & Synthesis
- Compile and analyze data including student feedback, surveys, progression data, curriculum maps, learning outcomes, and external benchmarks.
- Ensure data is presented clearly, accurately, and in a decision ready format.
Reporting & Documentation
- Draft academic quality reports, summaries, and briefing materials.
- Prepare materials for Academic Leadership, Program Heads, Executive, and Governance.
- Maintain version control and documentation standards.
Framework Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support refinement of academic quality frameworks and methodologies.
- Document lessons learned from reviews and pilots.
Education & Experience
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in analysis, reporting, or program evaluation.
- Strong data synthesis and written communication skills.
- Experience with complex documentation and reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in post secondary or training environments.
- Familiarity with curriculum design, learning outcomes, or program review processes.
- Experience with survey tools, spreadsheets, and reporting software.
