About the role
Position Overview
We are seeking a Vice President, Technology to lead our engineering organization and define the technology vision that will support the next phase of growth. This executive will be responsible for driving engineering excellence, enterprise architecture, data strategy, and AI-enabled innovation while ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.
The ideal candidate is a technology leader with experience building high-performing engineering teams, modernizing platforms, and leveraging data and artificial intelligence to create business value.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership -Develop and execute the organization's long-term technology strategy aligned with business objectives. -Provide executive leadership across software engineering, architecture, platform engineering, data, and AI initiatives. -Partner with executive leadership to identify technology investments that drive growth, innovation, and operational efficiency. -Foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Engineering & Architecture
-Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise applications and platforms. -Establish enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps that promote scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability. -Drive cloud modernization, API-first architecture, microservices, and DevSecOps best practices. -Champion modern software development methodologies and engineering governance.
Data & Artificial Intelligence
-Define and execute the organization's enterprise data strategy. -Lead initiatives focused on data governance, analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, and AI-enabled products. -Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics to improve customer experience and operational performance. -Establish best practices for responsible AI, data quality, security, and compliance. People Leadership -Build an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing technology organization. -Establish KPIs to measure engineering performance, platform reliability, and delivery effectiveness.
Qualifications
-10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior engineering leadership roles. -Experience leading software engineering, enterprise architecture, and technology strategy within complex organizations. -Experience developing enterprise data strategies, analytics platforms, and AI/ML initiatives. -Strong understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), distributed systems, APIs, and enterprise architecture. -Proven track record of leading digital transformation and large-scale technology modernization programs. -Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
