MAKING AN IMPACT
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Third Party Fundraising, this role will focus on supporting the digital fundraising efforts of the Independent Fundraising and Sports Alliances portfolio. The strategic focus of this role is to use successful peer-to-peer and network fundraising tactics and implement them as part of our Digital community-led fundraising experiences.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:**
Support execution of digital Independent Fundraising campaign implementation & Social Challenge Fundraising
- Work closely with the Senior Manager to implement acquisition and retention strategies using digital tactics to create a best-in-class third-party fundraising experience to grow the supporter base and revenue
- Supports the development, implementation and optimization of the independent fundraising and sports alliance email marketing and lead generation advertising plan
- Liaise with internal and external partners to execute digital campaigns on independent fundraising and sports alliance digital platforms
- Manage Independent Fundraising (IF) & Sports Alliance (SA) activities and social media calendars
Support digital independent fundraising stewardship and communications
- Support business requirements and documentation for site creation for Independent Fundraising events
- Optimize independent fundraising digital platforms by initiating, testing, and supporting implementation of innovative approaches to digital fundraising.
- Support email communication strategy and implementation for donor and participant journeys
- Support retention and acquisition tactics through digital and data operational requirements for IF and SA campaigns
Support Independent Fundraising and Sport Alliance Operations
- Monitor Salesforce dashboards and support data requirements
- Support new campaign/product launches for digital requirements
- Track revenue and process invoices as and when necessary
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to drive a digital transformation culture
- Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary diploma/degree required, in a related field (preferably Fundraising or Digital Marketing) with 3 or more years executing community-based fundraising strategies or events.
- Strong experience in digital tactics including email, digital advertising, and donor journey development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed people centred communication ability.
- Strong organizational, project management and data-driven problem-solving skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to set priorities, demonstrate a positive attitude, troubleshoot and problem solve proactively using sound judgement.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend work.
- Advance level of proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce
- Working knowledge of digital fundraising platforms such as Donor Drive, Luminate Online, an asset.
- Working knowledge of digital fundraising performance tools such as Google analytics, UTMs, an asset.
- Ability to travel within Canada – i.e., a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to occasionally work outside of regular office hours.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is highly preferred, with French being an asset due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions.
