What you’ll do:
- Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in our Pharmacy Department.
- To provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform the technical aspects of medication dispensing, including receiving the prescription from the patient, and processing and filling the prescription efficiently and accurately
- Maintain prescription records and inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
- Perform inventory management functions such as ordering pharmacy inventory, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and identifying expired products for disposal, destruction, or return to manufacturer.
- To perform cashiering duties as required.
- To assist with stocking and setting up displays.
- Enter and manage patient profiles, maintaining current and accurate details.
- To handle complaints and errors of minor nature and refer more serious complaints to the Pharmacy Manager.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Pharmacy Assistant certificate preferred.
- 1 – 3 years of customer service experience is required.
- Previous experience working in a Pharmacy dispensary of 1-2 years is preferred.
- Kroll / related system experience is an asset . You must be available for days, evenings and weekends
