About the role

Our client is seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Cybersecurity Sales Manager to lead business development initiatives, drive revenue growth, and expand our cybersecurity solutions portfolio across enterprise and public sector clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, a proven track record in B2B technology sales, and the ability to build long-term client relationships while delivering tailored security solutions. This role requires a consultative sales professional who can identify customer security challenges, position cybersecurity solutions effectively, manage complex sales cycles, and collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful client outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for cybersecurity solutions and services. Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across enterprise, financial services, telecommunications, government, healthcare, and other key sectors. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships. Develop account growth strategies for existing clients while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. Sales & Account Management Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure. Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, CISOs, procurement teams, and other decision-makers. Conduct client meetings to understand business needs, security risks, and compliance requirements. Prepare compelling proposals, quotations, presentations, and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs). Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value enterprise deals. Solution Selling Position cybersecurity solutions that address clients' security, compliance, and operational requirements. Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, and Technical Consultants to develop tailored client solutions. Present cybersecurity products and managed security services, including: Managed Security Services (MSS) Security Operations Centre (SOC) Services Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Identity and Access Management (IAM) Cloud Security Solutions Network Security Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Security Awareness Training Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary commercial contact for strategic cybersecurity clients. Maintain regular engagement with customers to understand evolving business and security needs. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Resolve commercial issues in collaboration with internal teams. Market Intelligence Monitor cybersecurity market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies for business expansion. Gather customer feedback to support product development and service improvements. Sales Reporting & Performance Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates using CRM systems. Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management. Track sales performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure accurate documentation of all client engagements and opportunities. Collaboration Work closely with Marketing to execute lead generation campaigns and industry events. Collaborate with Delivery and Technical teams to ensure seamless project implementation. Support vendor relationship management and joint go-to-market initiatives with cybersecurity technology partners.

RequirementsEducation Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. An MBA is an added advantage. Experience Minimum of 5–8 years of B2B technology sales experience, with at least 3 years selling cybersecurity solutions or enterprise IT solutions. Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience managing enterprise and government accounts. Experience selling to executive-level stakeholders and managing complex sales cycles. Technical Knowledge A solid understanding of cybersecurity technologies and services, including: Network Security Cloud Security Endpoint Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Operations Centre (SOC) SIEM and XDR Solutions Vulnerability Management Penetration Testing Managed Security Services Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Data Protection and Privacy Zero Trust Architecture Cybersecurity Frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) Required Skills & Competencies Enterprise B2B Sales Cybersecurity Solution Selling Business Development Strategic Account Management Consultative Selling Negotiation and Closing Relationship Management Proposal and Tender Management Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Management CRM Proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar) Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills Commercial Acumen Strategic Thinking Problem Solving Results Orientation Team Collaboration Preferred Certifications Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – Advantage Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) – Advantage CompTIA Security+ Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Vendor Certifications (Microsoft Security, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, CrowdStrike, Trend Micro, or Sophos) ITIL Foundation (Added Advantage)
