Job Summary

Lead a team responsible for delivering infrastructure solutions that support multiple complex and concurrent programs and projects. This role is accountable for managing the life cycle of the infrastructure service catalogue in alignment with ITC strategy, operational needs, industry trends, and client demand. The role also builds strong relationships with internal ITC partners, clients, and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of infrastructure solutions across a large portfolio of complex initiatives, managing priorities, scope, cost, resources, and timelines. Manage the infrastructure service catalogue, including new services, enhancements, and end-of-life planning. Review and approve solution architecture, infrastructure design, cost estimates, and project plans to ensure alignment with standards. Represent infrastructure services on steering committees, architecture reviews, and portfolio reviews, providing strategic input and decision-making support. Accountable for the Management and Governance of Network and Enterprise Services in a complex environment to deliver reliable and resilient services containing mission-critical foundational infrastructure technologies. Oversee the management of Network and Enterprise services incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests, ensuring quality, system availability, compliance to policy, and adherence to standards. Oversee and sign-off on the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of Network and Enterprise system standards, inventory, build books, and run books, for service optimization and risk avoidance Oversee and sign-off on the creation of executive and operational reports on Network and Enterprise Services including status, accomplishments, risks, issues, financial performance, resourcing, and additional value-add information. Develop sourcing approaches, support contract negotiation and approval, and oversee supplier performance and escalations. Contribute to infrastructure strategy, roadmaps, business planning, and business cases. Oversee reporting on delivery, risks, issues, financial performance, resources, and service outcomes. Drive risk management, quality management, continuous improvement, and operating model enhancements. Lead, coach, and manage staff, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and development. Manage the section budget, cost centre, and procurement activities. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal partners, clients, and suppliers, and communicate updates to executives, peers, and staff. Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant industry certifications in infrastructure design, implementation, or management, such as ITIL, or vendor certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, Red Hat, AWS, Google, IBM, or Oracle. Project Management certification is an asset.

Experience

10+ years of experience in infrastructure solutions. Minimum 3 years, preferably 5+ years, of people leadership experience with accountability for end-to-end solution design and delivery. Demonstrated experience in strategy development, business planning, strategic communications, financial management, and vendor or supplier management. Strong knowledge of three or more of the following: Windows, UNIX, Mainframe, Storage, Cloud, Linux, LAN, WAN, Firewall, Middleware, Database, Automation, Messaging, Telephony, and Infrastructure Security.
