Northland Properties Corporation is seeking a Development Coordinator to support new construction and renovation projects within our expanding portfolio of Hotels, Restaurants, and Resorts.

As our Development Coordinator, you’ll support our Development Director from early design through construction, ensuring that AutoCAD models and project documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with project objectives.
This role combines digital coordination with development support—ideal for someone who is proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoying being part of planning, design, and construction teams. Your key duties will include:
- Coordinate and manage AutoCAD models and project documentation from concept through construction.
- Develop and manage project-specific execution plans and related AutoCAD documentation.
- Conduct model audits and clash detection to identify potential construction issues.
- Provide model-based solutions, drawing exports, schedules, and reports for internal teams and consultants.
- Train and support team members in AutoCAD and best practices.
- Assist the Development Director with:
- Project ID Requests and project folder creation
- Preliminary plan development and initial site plan design
- Site test fits and floor plan concept layouts
- Room mix / suite type selection
- Conceptual design development
- Zoning analysis and preliminary site survey assessment
- Architectural and engineering design development
- Feasibility analysis and cost estimation
- Permitting and regulatory compliance review
- Site plan reviews with hotel and restaurant operation
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of architectural experience with relevant experience in construction coordination and/or digital modelling workflows
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Enscape, and BIM 360/ACC.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
