About the role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) domain expertise, ideally in the Aerospace & Defence Industry, to support and optimize business processes and system functionalities related to asset management, maintenance operations, and supply chain integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with MRO systems (e.g. SAP iMRO, IBM Maximo, IFS CAMRO or similar platforms) and will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions.
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary business analyst to support the design and implementation of MRO / EAM solutions

Translate customer and stakeholder business requirements into tailored MRO system solutions (e.g. SAP iMRO, IBM Maximo, IFS CAMRO)

Review and analyze current-state business processes and map them to system capabilities; document business and functional requirements

Define and document requirements for system enhancements, integrations, or custom developments

Support solution design by aligning process requirements with application and system architecture

Recommend improvements to existing MRO business processes and define user roles aligned to optimized workflows

Conduct discovery workshops to capture “as-is” processes and define “to-be” future states

Contribute to development of delivery assets and best practices (templates, documentation, presentations)

Create business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specs, and test documentation

Support and participate in test execution (SIT/UAT) to validate solution fit against requirements
Assets
- Hands-on experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry or other asset-intensive industries (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, transportation, oil & gas)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid analytical skills to identify root causes and propose feasible solutions.
- Familiarity with integration between MRO systems and ERP platforms
- SAP knowledge (MM, PM, PP, SD, FICO) or exposure to other enterprise platforms
- IFS MRO / CAMRO (Complex Assembly Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) experience
