Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Mgr. Trainer/Engineer QA: The successful candidate will coordinate the training program, including maintenance technical training, quality control, auditing, and administrative duties, as described in Cargojet’s MCM, MPM & Procedures Manuals, and in aircraft technical documentation. The chosen candidate will also coordinate aircraft audits, as assigned by the QA Manager.
Essential Position Functions:
- Be knowledgeable with all company and government manuals/documents pertaining to the work.
- Assist in the development and administration of training programs for Cargojet Maintenance Personnel.
- Maintain training databases (Maintenance and Flight Crew), ensuring records are complete and current.
- Track and issue training as required prior to due dates for Maintenance and Flight Crew elementary work.
- Generate and issue ACA cards as required.
- Provide training and quality input for revisions to the standards and procedures contained in Cargojet’s MCM/MPM manuals and the implementation of new procedures.
- Cross-functional responsibility to support the Technical Librarian when needed.
- Ensure a clean and safe workplace for team members.
- Ensure compliance with Safety Management System (SMS) and safety / security policies, procedures and standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director, Quality and Safety
- Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to use computers - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Experience developing syllabuses for training programs is an asset.
