Infrastructure Patching SME – Linux / Windows / Network / Storage / SQL / Oracle Toronto, Ontario, Canada | T4 Contract | Hybrid, 3 days onsite End Client: Leading Canadian Financial Institution About the Role Our consulting client is looking to staff multiple Patching Subject Matter Expert roles across key infrastructure towers. These are hybrid T4 contract opportunities based in Toronto, requiring onsite presence 3 days per week. This is a great opportunity for experienced infrastructure professionals with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in patching, maintenance, remediation, and operational support across enterprise environments. Open SME towers include: Linux Patching SME Windows Patching SME Network Patching SME Storage Patching SME SQL Patching SME Oracle Patching SME Responsibilities Lead and support patching activities across assigned infrastructure towers. Assess patching requirements, risks, dependencies, and implementation steps. Coordinate patch deployments in enterprise production and non-production environments. Troubleshoot patching issues and support remediation activities. Work with infrastructure, security, application, and operations teams to ensure successful patch execution. Maintain patching documentation, status updates, and operational reporting. Support vulnerability remediation initiatives and compliance-driven patching cycles. Participate in maintenance windows and change management processes as required. Required Skills / What You Bring 5–7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure support, administration, patching, or remediation. Strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following towers: Linux patching Windows patching Network patching Storage patching SQL patching Oracle patching Experience working in large enterprise environments. Strong understanding of patch management processes, vulnerability remediation, and change management. Ability to troubleshoot patch failures, deployment issues, and environment-specific conflicts. Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple technical teams. Availability to work hybrid from Toronto, 3 days onsite. Compensation The hourly rate for this contract position is $41–$45 per hour on T4. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
