About the role
Pay Range: CAD 55-60/hr
Experience: 3+ years in quality engineering or quality assurance; aerospace or defense industry strongly preferred Skills: Ability to read and execute quality plans / inspection procedures Visual inspection and cosmetic defect identification Basic metrology: calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges Documentation: clear written reports, organized data, photography for defect records Cleanliness & ESD: Familiarity with cleanroom or controlled-environment protocols;ESD handling awareness Languages: English required;French preferred Travel: Willing to travel to supplier sites in USA/Canada as needed (estimate5 trips over 9 months, ~1 week each)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with incoming quality control (IQC) or source inspection in aerospace/satellite programs ASQ CQE, CQT, or equivalent certification Familiarity with AS9100 qualitymanagement systems Experience working as a customer representative at a contractmanufacturer Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
