Title : Junior Project Coordinator

Location: 37 Quarry Park Blvd SE, Calgary

Job Overview Reporting to the Project Manager as the Junior Project Coordinator you will provide assistance throughout the construction process and ensure the efficient flow of documentation and information between systems and departments.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

  • Assisting in the preparation of permits, construction documentation, budgets, and technical plans, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Assisting in the Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI) and Submittals, determining project and trade scopes, and assisting and preparing contract documentation.
  • Aiding with information and project timeline updates to related parties, including external vendors as necessary.
  • Assisting in the monitoring of day-to-day operations to ensure projects are carried out according to standard processes and procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with municipal staff and trades.
  • Preparing documents and tender contracts to trades, suppliers and consulting or engineering companies.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of construction or project coordination experience. Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint),

Work Conditions You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required.
