As a Mineral Land Contracts Analyst reporting to the Land Contracts Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations by reviewing, tracking, and processing third‑party conveyancing and responses, analyzing contracts for key terms, and collaborating with both the Legal and Accounting departments. This position also offers opportunities to contribute to project work, giving you the chance to expand your expertise and make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in one of Canada’s leading energy companies.
- Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts

Key Accountabilities:
- Review and track third‑party conveyance documentation (NOAs, A&Ns) to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare detailed conveyance review sheets, capturing ROFR provisions and related leases/contracts
- Collaborate with the team to secureapprovals for acceptance of NOAs/A&Ns and maintain alignment
- Draft and issue formal response letters to third parties, representing the organization with professionalism
- Maintain and update the QBLM Land System, including chains of title, while fulfilling legal requests such as scanning agreements and confirming statute of limitations
- Support cross‑functional needs by fielding inquiries from Accounting and Legal, and contributing to clean‑up projects like acquisition reviews
What You Bring to the Role:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Lease Administrator or Mineral Contracts Analyst
- Certification from an accredited Mineral/Contract Land program is considered an asset
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and adept at working with land systems such as Accuap
- Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a proven track record of thriving in team‑based settings
