About the role
Job Summary – Data Engineer (Product Catalog & Data Pipelines)
We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines that power product catalog, pricing, inventory, and promotions across multiple regions and commerce channels. The role involves implementing product attribute mapping, data transformations, incremental data synchronization, and ensuring high-quality, compliant product data delivery. The ideal candidate has strong experience with SQL, Python/Scala/Java, ETL/ELT pipelines, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with PIM/PXM systems, feed management platforms (Feedonomics, Productsup, Lengow, Channable), retail/e-commerce product catalogs, and marketplace integrations is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of data quality, data modeling, APIs, CI/CD, and cloud-based data engineering practices is essential.
