Role Description
The Sales Executive is a remote full-time role (consideration to part-time will be given)
The role is solely responsible for driving new business for the rental/deployment of our Canadian Consumer Email Files (D2C)
The Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the Founder of cmi Media Inc. to align client campaigns with measurable objectives, ensure smooth onboarding, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle. Day-to-day activities include managing a sales pipeline and growing the potential client list.
This position requires prospecting and qualifying new leads, maintaining this information on a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, conducting telephone calls, email correspondence, sales presentations and preparing proposals with brands, agencies and businesses.
Qualifications
Sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, consultative selling, and closing new business opportunities.
Account management and client relationship management capabilities, with experience in maintaining long-term partnerships and handling renewals or expansions.
Knowledge of digital marketing, advertising, and lead generation strategies, preferably within data-driven or performance marketing environments.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions clearly to decision makers.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a structured sales pipeline
Relevant post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience; prior experience in media, advertising is preferred.
However, the key is to be an enthusiastic solution-driver. A resilient performer that will translate initiatives into actionable results that align with business objectives.
A candidate with exceptional sales skills that permeate will absolutely compensate for any lack of structured educational background. cmi media services can be taught to a person capable of learning, but passion and sales skills are inherent skill sets that supersede all else.
Compensation
This role is 100% commission based with a very high ceiling and payment initiative beyond any sales role you will typically find.
30% year 1 of client for every campaign deployment; 20% year 2 of client; 10% residual for the balance All the compensation above is for as long as you maintain your employment with cmi Media and maintain in good standing with the company.
Our list files are affordable and will be rented frequently by clients;
SINGLE SALE: 8.75¢ per email deployed for 100,000 recipients is $2,625 commission per email campaign deployed.
Any passionate sales executive can do the math from there.
