About the role
One of our clients, a major oil and gas company has tasked us with sourcing a TLM Production Planner to support their operations.
This is a 1-year contract position based in Spruce Grove, Alberta, working Monday to Friday within a structured operational schedule. The TLM Production Planner plays a critical role in ensuring equipment is delivered on time and aligned with operational demands. This position focuses on improving the reliability, utilization, and efficiency of division equipment assets while contributing to the reduction of Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD).
Working closely with maintenance and asset teams, the TLM Production Planner ensures that maintenance planning, equipment flow, and resource coordination are executed effectively across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for a designated location, ensuring alignment with operational priorities. Collaborate with the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and Asset Coordinator to confirm priorities and schedules. Manage the equipment receiving process, including identifying incoming equipment and assessing maintenance requirements upon arrival. Identify and document equipment deficiencies by creating Shop Failures or Deficiency Reports. Open and manage repair work orders, ensuring accurate documentation of equipment scheduled for service within the system. Organize and prioritize equipment within appropriate workflows, including washing, test pit, and maintenance bays. Coordinate with Stores to ensure timely assignment and delivery of materials and supplies to workstations, supporting maintenance and repair priorities. Supervise CMMS Clerks where applicable, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity. Oversee Yard Crew activities, including equipment washing and movement within the yard, where applicable. Support asset counting processes and maintain accurate equipment lists in collaboration with maintenance leadership. Actively contribute to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and LEAN programs.
