Full-Time, Temporary (8 weeks)
Seasonal Workplace Learning Administrator
35 hours/week
Waterloo, Ontario
The Seasonal Workplace Learning Administrator plays a key support role within Karis Disability Services’ Workplace Learning team. This position provides essential clerical and administrative coordination to ensure learning, orientation, and e-learning processes operate smoothly across all Canadian locations.
In this role, you will support the day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), assist with employee orientation and e-learning programs, and provide responsive customer service to staff at all levels of the organization. Throughout your work, you will uphold Karis Disability Services’ Value, Vision and Mission, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and respect in all interactions with employees, people supported by our services, and internal and external partners.
This seasonal opportunity is ideal for a student or recent graduate with an interest in Human Resources, learning and development, or e-learning administration, who is looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a values-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Learning & Employee Orientation Support

Provide input and feedback on employee orientation processes

Populate and maintain orientation and training content within the Learning Management System (LMS)

Maintain LMS profiles and update e-learning course content as required
-
Respond to e-learning login and access issues, providing technical support for common web-based problems
-
Deliver timely, reliable, and high-quality customer service to Direct Support Professionals, Program Managers, and departmental leaders
What We’re Looking For:

The successful candidate should be between the ages of 18 to 30 at the start of employment, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee, and be legally entitled to work in Canada as per the Canada Summer Jobs participant requirements.

Post-secondary degree or diploma (completed or in progress) in a related field such as Human Resources, E-Learning, or a similar discipline

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail

Proficient computer and keyboarding skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across departments

Previous exposure to or knowledge of e-learning platforms is considered an asset
