Reporting to the Project and Technical Services Manager, the Support Services Administrator plays a critical role in supporting multiple areas of our business — including technology, facilities, quality, and training — while helping drive strategic projects forward. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-driven professional with strong organizational skills, customer service focus, and experience in administrative support, data management, and process improvement.

How You’ll Add Value

  • Ensure safety practices and compliance standards are consistently met, modeling Volker Stevin’s culture of safety excellence
  • Generate and manage work orders, purchase orders, and invoice receipts for Support Services activities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
  • Set up new vendors and maintain the Support Services active vendor list
  • Schedule and coordinate routine facility maintenance and inspections
  • Review subcontractor invoices and manage documentation
  • Prepare and reconcile P-Card and expense accounts for departmental purchases
  • Provide technical support for wireless communication devices, including troubleshooting and user guidance
  • Develop clear, user-friendly technology guidebooks for staff
  • Monitor, track, and pull reports from the Learning Management System (LMS) for employee training requirements
  • Run NSC training reports and notify team members of missing or upcoming training
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary
  • Assist with highway maintenance contract pursuits and special projects as assigned

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following: Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years’ administrative support experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions
  • Experience with SharePoint, LMS platforms, work management software, or D365 is an asset
  • Familiarity with wireless communication programs and mobile device troubleshooting is an asset
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset
