About the role

We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we're still growing! Join us as a "Production Support Analyst.

Seeking a Production Support Analyst to manage incidents, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure system stability across cloud, database, and infrastructure environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Proven experience in production support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong Java programming and debugging capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud services and environments.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and monitoring tools, such as Jenkins and Dynatrace.
  • Proficient in working with relational databases, including Oracle and SQL MI.
  • Monitor and support production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Debug and troubleshoot application issues using programming and system logs.
  • Manage and maintain system operations on Unix/Linux environments.
  • Support cloud-based infrastructure and deployments.
  • Collaborate with teams using DevOps and monitoring tools for continuous improvement.
  • Perform database checks, query analysis, and support data-related issue resolution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Proven experience in production support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

  • Strong Java programming and debugging capabilities.

  • Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.

  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud services and environments.
