Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Analyst. This hybrid role is based out of our Head Office in Surrey, BC.

**Expected Compensation:**The expected hiring range for this role is $65,600 - $82,000 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

As our Configuration Analyst, you’ll support and enhance our core ERP systems by translating business needs into effective configurations, workflows, and automated solutions.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving system performance by implementing configuration changes, supporting releases, and developing document templates that ensure accurate, automated outputs. Working closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders, you’ll help keep our systems efficient, reliable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Why we’ll love You:

  • You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • You’ve configured ERP or line-of-business systems, including workflows, rules, and system settings (experience with Acturis is a strong plus)
  • You’ve developed or maintained system-generated documents or templates using merge fields, conditional logic, or scripting (e.g., Acturis document wordings and templates)
  • You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail when working with system configuration and data
  • You can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with Business Analysts and business stakeholders
  • You have excellent communication and organizational skills and a customer-focused approach to supporting business systems

Once here, you'll:

  • Act as a configuration specialist for Westland’s ERP systems, primarily Acturis, ensuring system setups support business operations effectively
  • Update and maintain system configurations, workflows, rules, and automation logic, keeping accurate documentation of all changes
  • Develop and maintain Acturis document templates (policy documents, letters, wordings) using merge fields, conditional logic, and scripting for accurate, automated outputs
  • Support system changes and new functionality, including testing configurations with Business Analysts and stakeholders
  • Assess impacts of new releases or updates on current configurations and business processes
  • Provide functional support to end users, ensuring systems continue to meet business needs and operational requirements
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and business users to define and design system configurations, workflows, and document outputs
  • Participate in design reviews, testing, peer reviews, and cross-training, supporting continuous improvement across supported systems
