Accounting Associate (Revenue)
About the role
Under the general direction of the Manager, Accounting, the Accounting Associate (Student Revenue) is responsible for processing tuition and ancillary fee payments, preparing bank deposits, performing data entry into financial and student systems, and executing various month-end account reconciliations. This role ensures accurate and timely financial processing related to student accounts and institutional revenue.
The position also administers the Rachel and Ernest Fox Loan Program and is responsible for posting Student Awards to individual student accounts.
In addition, the Accounting Associate (Student Revenue) provides cross-functional support to other Accounting Associate roles to maintain service continuity across Financial Services.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 of three years of administrative experience in a financial environment or accounting environment.
At least two years of accounts receivable and general accounting experience, or completion of Level 2 in a recognized accounting designation program (e.g., CPA, CGA) or equivalent post-secondary training. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Unit4 BW (Agresso) or similar ERP systems is considered an asset.
Additional Information
This is a regular, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. This position has been evaluated at ADM-D with a salary range of $59,484 (minimum) to $69,884 (midpoint) to $80,284 (maximum) per annum. Employment offers will normally be made between the minimum and midpoint of the range and are determined by knowledge, experience and internal equity.
