Cosmetica Laboratories, an industry leader in the formulation and production of beauty and personal care products, is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. The CFO will serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team, with full accountability for shaping and executing the company's financial direction to support profitable growth and long-term value creation.
This is a critical leadership role within a high-performance, innovation-driven environment. The ideal candidate will bring a forward-thinking, results-driven approach to finance, a strong grasp of capital planning, and a deep commitment to operational excellence and fiscal stewardship.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the President and executive leadership on company-wide strategy and growth initiatives
- Guide financial planning and business modeling to ensure alignment with long-term objectives.
- Identify and assess new business opportunities and financial risks, offering data-driven insights to support decisions.
- Help shape commercial strategies that optimize pricing, cost structures, and partnerships.
Financial Management
- Oversee all financial operations including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead the development of robust financial models and implement advanced performance management tools.
- Direct investment planning, pricing policy modernization, and capital allocation processes.
- Ensure all practices align with industry-leading governance, controls, and regulatory standards.
Operational Excellence
- Optimize financial systems and reporting frameworks to improve speed, accuracy, and transparency.
- Partner across departments to implement tools and practices that improve forecasting, profitability analysis, and cash flow performance.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-caliber finance team capable of supporting a growing organization.
- Foster a performance-driven culture, emphasizing ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, clients, auditors, banks, and investors.
- Partner with the CIO and IT leaders to align digital transformation and ERP initiatives with finance priorities.
Skills, Experience And Education Required Core Attributes

- High integrity, strong executive presence, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- An agile, commercially-minded leader who can drive change and influence outcomes across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in progressive financial leadership roles, including at least 3 years in a top finance position.
- Experience in manufacturing - minimum of 5 years.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA) is required; an MBA or Master’s degree is an asset.
- Track record of driving transformation, supporting growth, and managing complexity in a dynamic environment.

- Rapidly gain in-depth knowledge of Cosmetica’s business, operations, and strategic goals.
- Establish credibility with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead or co-lead critical strategic initiatives, including pricing and financial systems upgrades.
