About the role
This position is primarily accountable for performing tasks involved with attaching runners to patterns with proper seal. It also works from various specifications and assists in housekeeping and cleanliness of area.Ensures that all tasks involved with attaching runners to patterns with proper seal are completed as per company procedures and that other related duties are performed.
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am

Inspects clusters for air bubbles, improper seals, broken patterns and cracks

Follows all work instructions

Uses water welder to fix and smooth runners and gates
-
Fills in holes at gate with a water welder/wax
-
Inspects assembled trees and gates for pinholes, undercuts and other defects .

Works from wax procedures, drawings or other specifications .

Insert screws in clusters and hang on conveyor line with similar clusters
-
Assists in housekeeping of department and cleanliness of immediate area .

Cross trained in a variety of areas throughout the facility.

Must read, write, and comprehend verbal and activity instructions.

Ability to read & understand sketches, designs and plans.

Ability to use measuring instruments.

Ability to handle hoists.
