Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As an Analyst, Business Insights & Reporting, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, enhancement, and delivery of reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across Banking Operations. Leveraging technical expertise in SQL, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and Power Platform tools, you will help develop dashboards, reporting, and workflow solutions that improve visibility into business performance, support operational effectiveness, and enable self-serve access to insights. This role collaborates with business partners to gather requirements, ensure reporting quality and data integrity, and contribute to automation and process improvement opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Manager, Business Insights and Reporting. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on‑site for events and business demands.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and workflow solutions using SQL, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Platform tools
  • Delivering scalable, accurate, and user-friendly reporting that supports performance monitoring, operational visibility, and self-serve insights
  • Analyzing business and operational data to identify trends, risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Providing clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Translating complex analysis into clear, actionable information for diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Supporting user acceptance testing, validation, quality assurance, and data accuracy for reports, dashboards, and workflows
  • Applying data governance, reconciliation, and documentation practices to ensure integrity and reliability of reporting outputs
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business questions into analytics solutions
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation, improved design, and continuous learning

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Power Query, Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps

  • Strong analytical, data modeling, and visualization skills

  • Experience developing reporting solutions and dashboards for business users

  • Ability to validate data, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high standards of data quality and accuracy

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and present findings clearly

  • Experience with stakeholder collaboration, requirement gathering, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of $69,700 to $82,000 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
