The Product Strategy team for Employer Solutions is responsible for defining and executing the two to five year product vision for TELUS Health's Employer-paid healthcare business unit, spanning EAP, Worklife, Wellbeing and Clinical product capabilities in more than 160 countries globally. The business unit acquires new technical assets via internal development, M&A, and partnership on an ongoing basis, and will be an industry leader in unifying user identities across multiple healthcare solutions such that users will receive services that are highly personalised, deeply integrated and maximise clinical and wellbeing outcomes.
What you'll do:
Specifically with regards the unification of user identities across a complex, global ecosystem of healthcare products, you will:
- Translate business strategy into product strategy
- Own the product roadmap
- Execute product strategy
- Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market
- Manage profitability and commercial success – own the business case
- Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market
- Write requirements
- Support Product Owners, Marketers and Sellers with product, industry and customer expertise
Qualifications
What you bring:
- Sector knowledge: Deep understanding and practical experience of unifying user identities across diverse healthcare platforms and providers in both the public and private sector
- Market research: Identify opportunities, risks, and shifts in customer behavior using data, industry reports, and competitive intelligence
- Data-driven decision-making: Extract insights from large datasets, whether using Excel, SQL, BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI), or other analytics platforms
- Strategic thinking and roadmap planning: Define product priorities based on market gaps, feasibility, and business impact. Create structured, value-driven roadmaps
- Stakeholder communication and storytelling: Present product strategies to product leadership, internal teams, and external clients. Align stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-backed insights
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work alongside product managers, designers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of product strategies
- Understanding of engineering and technical feasibility: Partner with developers to assess constraints, ensuring product recommendations are practical and scalable
- Customer-centric mindset: Engage directly with users, conduct interviews, and validate product concepts to ensure alignment with real needs
- Business acumen and monetization modeling: Build business cases, define return on investment (ROI), and assess the viability of new product initiatives

- Demonstrable success in a complex technical, legal and operational ecosystem in which ambiguity is always present
- Experience of consulting to Healthcare leaders and strategists
Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
