Goals:
- Provide tuition support for schoolwork and build confidence for upcoming exams
- Strengthen understanding of school French curriculum and assignments
- Build vocabulary and grammar skills appropriate for grade level
- Improve reading and comprehension abilities
- Prepare for language exams and develop school-related communication skills
- Understand how schools function in the new country
- Learn through games and interactive conversation practice
Responsibilities
- Design engaging and structured lessons aligned with the school’s French curriculum
- Support completion and understanding of school assignments
- Incorporate games, conversation, and interactive methods to enhance motivation
- Focus on grammar, reading, and vocabulary building
- Help the student gain confidence in both spoken and written French
- Provide regular feedback and adapt lessons to the student’s learning pace and interests
Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in French
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, linguistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience with children
- Experience supporting school-aged students and homework assistance
- Ability to make lessons fun, interactive, and tailored to the child’s learning goals
