Faculty Appointment Types Full Time-Limited Term Sessional Non-NRSL Job Summary

The College of New Caledonia is looking for a sessional nursing faculty member to instruct in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program. CNC is looking for candidates to be involved with delivering clinical based experiences.

Skills & Qualifications

  • RN with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, preference will be given to an RN with a Master’s Degree

  • Minimum 5 years nursing experience in recent medical, surgical or gerontological areas in acute or community care settings

  • A combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered

  • Recent teaching experience

  • Current membership and practicing registration with BCCNM

  • Completion of the Provincial Instructor’s Diploma Program (PIDP) would be an asset

Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
