About the role
Job Summary Perform collision repair, vehicle refinishing and glass replacement to restore safety and appearance. Assess damage and prepare accurate repair estimates and documentation. Number of Positions 7 Main Duties Inspect damaged vehicles to determine extent of collision, structural and cosmetic repairs required Prepare detailed written damage estimates including parts, labor and repair procedures Remove, repair and install body panels, bumpers, frames and structural components using hand and power tools Perform surface preparation, sanding, priming and paint application to achieve correct color match and finish Replace and repair vehicle glass and seals, ensuring proper fit and safe installation Conduct final quality checks, document completed work and coordinate parts ordering and supplier communication Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent Completion of a recognized auto body, refinishing or glass technician program or equivalent on-the-job experience Minimum two years of hands-on experience in collision repair, refinishing or auto glass work Proficiency using body repair tools, welding equipment and paint application systems Ability to read repair manuals, technical drawings and prepare clear cost estimates Physical ability to perform manual tasks, work in confined spaces and lift moderate weights Required Skills Damage assessment and estimating Metal panel repair and welding Surface preparation and paint mixing/application Auto glass repair and replacement techniques Attention to detail and quality control Time management and effective communication with colleagues and suppliers Benefits Benefits include competitive wages, supportive work environment, opportunities for growth, training support, and other employer-specific benefits depending on the position and location.
