To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing Join our Community Investment team as an Employee Engagement Co-op, where you'll play a key role in supporting our efforts to foster a positive workplace culture and drive impactful initiatives. As a member of the team, you'll leverage your strong analytical and technical skills to manage reporting processes, assist with communications, and help create engaging slide decks. You'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Benevity platform, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of employee engagement activities. Your contributions will help us measure the success of our programs and communicate results to stakeholders, all while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview. How you'll succeed Data Analysis & Reporting – Utilize Excel (including pivot tables and X lookups) and Power BI to generate, analyze, and present employee engagement data. Platform Management – Maintain and update the Benevity platform, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting. Communication Support – Assist in managing internal communications, including drafting messages and helping create slide decks for presentations. Collaboration – Work closely with team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives related to community investment and employee engagement. Continuous Learning – Embrace opportunities to learn new tools and processes, contributing to the team's success while developing your own skills. Who you are You're a current student. You are actively enrolled in a post-secondary program and seeking a co-op placement to gain hands-on experience. You have strong technical skills. You are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable using Power BI for data analysis and reporting. You're detail-oriented. You take pride in ensuring accuracy in your work, especially when managing data and reporting. You're a communicator. You can convey information clearly and effectively, both in writing and through presentations. You're a team player. You enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to shared goals.
