Position Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager the Lot Attendant ensures that our vehicles are cleaned with over and above attention to detail and quality. His or her performance makes a lasting impression on our customer’s investment in their vehicle and in our company. The cleanliness and professional display of our vehicles and the cleanliness of our dealership real estate is paramount to our brand. The lot attendant will be proud of the quality of his or her work.

Responsibilities

    • Ensuring sold and unsold vehicles are clean and presentable and have the required fuel.
    • Ensuring the lot is organized, clean, and free from trash and debris.
    • Arranging and displaying vehicles in designated areas.
    • Guaranteeing dealership branding (stickers and license plate brackets) are affixed to vehicles and professionally placed.
    • Able to assist in dealer trades when required.
    • Assisting with grounds maintenance such as snow shoveling and ice salting.
    • Responsible for key management of vehicles.
    • Ensures cleanliness of working areas.
    • Reports all visual damage to vehicles to Management.
    • Performs all other duties as requested by Management**.**

Requirements

    • Holds a BC Driver’s License and clean abstract.
    • Has the ability to move and lift heavy objects occasionally.
    • Has the ability to operate a pressure washer.
    • Must be able to operate a manual and an automatic transmission vehicle.
    • Always takes undo care and concern in operating dealership and customer vehicles.

Work Conditions

    • Regularly spend long hours standing
    • Regularly spend long hours in and out of a Shop environment
    • Frequently work on projects that require deadlines
    • Regularly lift 5-15 pounds
