As a Research Manager, you will be responsible, along with team members, for survey design, analysis, drawing insights, report-writing, and ensuring the quality of our execution and deliverables. You bring an inquisitive nature, have attention to detail, and strive to deliver excellence in all that you do.
Our client relationships are extremely important to us, and you will be a big part of that. You will act as a consultant and partner and will be responsible for maintaining positive and trustworthy working relationships with our valued clients. You will convert the client’s questions, concerns, and investigations into insights and business recommendations based on data.
As the Research Manager, you will**:**
- Develop, plan and manage the project critical path and timeline to meet the forecasted delivery deadline.
- Perform quality assurance checks at all steps of the study to meet our company standards.
- Collaborate with senior researchers in the design, development, execution and reporting of marketing research studies which meet the client's business objectives.
- Identify and communicate client-relevant insights and actionable recommendations from data.
- Manage the project schedule, budget, financials, scope and scope changes, objectives and objective changes.
- Own the projects to meet our company and client quality standards for study delivery.
- Provide leadership to project team members by directing their activities in a manner that successfully meet client project objectives.
- Lead and manage end-to-end research initiatives with a strong focus on quantitative methodologies, including survey design, data analysis, and statistical modeling, while also incorporating qualitative approaches (as it makes sense) to deliver comprehensive, actionable insights that inform strategy and decision-making.
- Represent Bond Brand Loyalty in client and supplier interactions.
- Keep abreast of industry and sector trends.
Your Background:
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
- At least 3-5+ years of proven experience in a Marketing Research role or equivalent, with knowledge of customer engagement, loyalty, and loyalty programs is ideal.
- A solid background in research methods, data analysis, and strategic thinking is key, as well as budget management and critical path planning.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end research initiatives, specializing in quantitative methodologies - survey design, data analysis, and statistical modeling - with applied knowledge of qualitative methods.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in statistical tools such as SPSS and a solid foundation in mathematics or statistics.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a client-facing role.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including professional business English, with a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships and lead cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, adept at handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced expertise in Excel and strong skills in Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with software tools such as MS Dynamics.
- Exceptional skills in listening, analysis, attention to detail, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making.
